Dear members of the Eritrean Canadian community and friends of the Eritrean Canadian Cultural Centre in Ontario,
It is our pleasure to address you through these lines as we renew our commitment to serving our community and strengthening the bonds of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual support among its members. Our Centre has always been, and continues to be, a welcoming home that brings us together around the values of respect, belonging, and collective action.
The achievements, programs, and activities accomplished over the years would not have been possible without your continued support and participation. We firmly believe that the strength of any community lies in its unity, the dedication of its members, and its ability to preserve its cultural identity while making positive contributions to the broader society in which it lives.
As we look toward the future, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting cultural, educational, youth, and social programs that help build a generation that is confident in its identity, proud of its heritage, and capable of making meaningful contributions and achievements.
On this occasion, we invite everyone to actively participate in the Centre’s activities and initiatives and to support our fundraising campaign, “It’s Your Turn!”, which was launched to ensure the sustainability of our services and to expand our programs to better meet the needs of our community.
